Being a sustainable school

It will be our mission to be a sustainable school. Here you can see some of our proposed sustainability measures.

Energy

Heating will be provided via air source heat pumps and electricity will be generated by photovoltaic panels. We will be following the new London Plan 2020 carbon reduction strategy.

Ventilation

The majority of teaching spaces will be ventilated by Hybrid ventilation strategy. Hybrid ventilation units provide background ventilation and night purge. Openable vents provide purge ventilation in warmer weather. 

Daylight

Natural light is provided to comply with daylight criteria through the combination of correct window design, and rooflights to larger spaces.
